YOU are right on leting pipe dry out myself i have a pipe for everyday so it get a week's rest end of day clean it put it in stand a good rest keep's it smoking sweet.

I have about 12 pipes but non of them are really collectables. But I really do enjoy pipes. Im 28 and have been ocasionally smoking pipes for about 10 years. Everyone I meet says "Your the youngest pipt smoker Ive ever seen or met" Its been the last five ears that ive had a pipe in my mouth almost all the time. But I still consider myself a novice when it comes to pipes. I think I am going to start to look for a meerchaum pipe and see what there all about.But for now im looking for inexpesive pipes I can se while working.
