Hope was first married to a soldier named Cowie. They had 2 children, a boy Alexander Hugh, born at Aldershot England. and a girl Grace Bradie. Cowie died just days before the end of WWI.
Hope then married Albert Oldham and moved to Canada with Grace and Alexander.
