Barbeque Sauce - Oriental

    1/2 c  Ketchup                           1/2 t  Anise seed
    1/2 c  Corn syrup                        1/2 t  Cinnamon, ground
    1/4 c  Soy sauce                         1/4 t  Pepper
      2 ea Garlic, cloves                    1/8 t  Cloves, ground

  Mix thoroughly and allow flavors to blend for at least one hour.
