      Title: Ostpreussische Brotsuppe   (East Prussian bread soup)

      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      8    Slices white bread, crusts
           Removed & cubed
      4 c  Water
      4    Cloves
      1    Stick cinnamon
      1 tb Sugar
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/2    Cup sour cream
      1 tb Lemon juice
 
  Combine bread, water, cloves, cinnamon, sugar and salt in saucepan.
  Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer 15 minutes.  Strain.  Heat, stir
  in sour cream and lemon juice.
