      Title: Hering in saurer Sahne  (Herring in sour cream)

      1 c  Sour Cream
      2 tb Vinegar
    1/2 ts Sugar
      1    Med Onion
     10 oz Jar Herring in wine sauce
           (Drained)
 
  Combine sour Cream, Vinegar and Sugar; blend well.
  Add the Onion.
  Arrange Herring on Serving Dishes.
  Spoon Sour Cream mixture over the Herring..
