Beef Stroganoff Makes 6 servings: -------------------------------------------------------- 1-pound beef round steak,cut into 3/4 inch cubes 1/2-teaspoon paprika 1/4-teaspoon salt 1/4-teaspoon pepper 1/8-teaspoon garlic salt 1/4-cup margarine or butter 1 1/2-cups sliced fresh mushrooms 3/4-cup beef broth 1-small bay leaf 2-teaspoons worcestershire sauce 2-tablespoons all purpose flour 1-8 ounce carton dairy sour cream 1-8 ounce package medium noodles,cooked(4 1/2 cups dry) -------------------------------------------------------- *1* Season the meat with the paprika,salt,pepper and garlic salt. *2* In a large skillet over medium-high heat,melt the butter or margarine.Add the meat and onion.Cook and stir until the meat is browned on all sides. *3* Add the mushrooms,beef broth,bay leaf and worcestershire sauce to the skillet.Bring to a boil.Reduce heat,cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until the meat is tender.Remove and discard the bay leaf. *4* In a small bowl,stir together the flour and sour cream.
