BARBECUE TURKEY BURGERS #2


1 package Seasoned Lean Turkey Burger Patties

1/2 cup onion; chopped

1/2 cup green bell peppers; chopped

3 tablespoons catsup

1/3 cup water

2 tablespoons vinegar

2 tablespoons molasses

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

4 whole-wheat hamburger buns

1. Spray a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Heat over
medium-high heat, about 30 seconds. Place lean seasoned turkey burger
patties in skillet. Cook 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until lightly
browned and no longer pink in the center. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
Wipe out skillet.

2. Add onion and bell pepper to skillet. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Add
catsup, water, vinegar, molasses, cornstarch and dry mustard; mix well.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are
crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

3. Add patties, turning to coat with sauce. Cook 3 to 5 minutes more or
until thoroughly heated. Serve on buns.
