STEAK FRIES


5 medium red potatoes (about 1 3/4 lbs.)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 clove garlic; crushed


1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Peel potatoes; cut each potato lengthwise into 6 wedges. Pat potato wedges dry with paper towels; place in an 11" X 7" baking dish. Drizzle oil over potatoes. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, nutmeg and garlic; toss well. Bake for 30 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.

Yields 6 servings (Serving size = 5 wedges)
