BLUEBERRY SORBET


4 cups lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite); chilled & divided

2 cups blueberries

1/2 cup sugar

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1. Place 2 cups soda, blueberries, sugar and lemon juice in a blender;
process until smooth. Combine blueberry mixture and remaining 2 cups soda
in the freezer can of an ice cream freezer; freeze according to
manufacturer's instructions.

* CHEF'S NOTE: You can also freeze the sorbet in a baking dish and serve it
as a granita.

Yields 6 servings (Serving size = 1 cup)
