This snack is made with green peas. Served with ketchup
and chutney, this makes an excellent evening snack.
Ingredients
12 slices of bread
6 slices of white cheese
6 slices of tomatoes
1 cup green peas boiled and mashed
1 tbsp lime juice
4-5 green chillies
1/2 a small onion
2 tsp coriander leaves
1/4 cup grated coconut
2 garlic flakes
A small piece ginger
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
4 tsp butter
Salt to taste

Method
This recipe makes 12 sandwiches.
Prepare a green chutney by blending 
together ingredients 4 to 12 with salt
to taste.
Take a slice of bread and generously
apply this chutney one one side.
Place one slice of tomato and cheese
on it.
Take another slice of bread and coat one side
of it with the chutney.
Place the coated side down on the first slice
to make a sandwich.
Butter the top and bottom of the sandwich
and toast it using a sandwich maker or grill
toaster.
Remove when crisp and brown on the outside.
Repeat for the remaining 10 slices.
Cut into halves to make a total of 12
sandwiches and serve with ketchup.



Preparation : 10 minutes (exec. time for boiling peas)
Cooking: 10-12 minutes (toasting time for 12 sandwiches)
