Made of cashewnuts(Kajubi) or peanuts(Nelakaddale), this
snack is very easy to make and tasty!
Ingredients

and skinned peanuts
1/2 cup bengal gram flour
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp hing (asoefetida)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds, crushed
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Method
Make a thin batter(of coating consistency) with
the gram flour, red chilli powder, hing, cumin
and salt with some warm water.
Heat 1 tsp of oil and add to the batter.
This is to make the bajes crisp.
Now dip each nut in the batter and deep fry
till golden brown and crisp.
You can fry a batch of 20-30 nuts at the same time

Drain and store in airtight containers when cool.
This can be eaten as a snack and will keep good
for weeks if stored well.

Preparation : 15-20 minutes (inc. time to peel the nuts and skin them)
Cooking: 5-10 minutes (depending on the size of each batch)
