Ingredients
3/4 lb. skinless boneless & chicken breasts
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 large onions
3" piece ginger
1 1/2 pods garlic
12 green chillies
1/2 tsp clove powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
Salt to taste
1 1/2 tbsp cooking oil
Method
Blend together the onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
Set aside.
Quarter each chicken breast.
Marinate the cut chicken in the soya sauce, salt, vinegar
and 1 tsp of pepper.
Set aside and let it marinate for 20 minutes.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the paste.
Fry till the color of the paste changes from light green to
brownish green.
The oil starts separating from the masala at this stage.
Now add the marinated chicken and without reducing heat,
fry the chicken in this masala till the chicken is done.
This will take about 12-15 minutes.
Stir continously, turning the chicken pieces.
Now add the powders, remaining pepper and if
required, salt to taste.
Mix well and continue to cook on high heat
till the dish is well blended.
Remove and serve hot garnished with tomato wedges.
