Rainier Ale

"The Green Death"

Brewer: Rainier

Where?: Seattle

Alcoholic Content: 7.2% (from the can and GABF website)

Taste: Really shitty

From the label: "Mountain Fresh Taste Since 1878," "Brewed With Finest Quality Ingredients"

Andy This looks too much like a premium beer to be on this site, but it does come in a 40. I really underestimated this stuff. I didn't even bother to try drinking it until I got the e-mail from Ryan (see below), but after downing some of it, I can honestly say it belongs here. It's one of the more understated malt liquors. It also seems to come in more forms than just about any other brand. Ryan says he can get it in a 40, a 22, and 12 oz cans and bottles, and I found it in a 16 oz can.

Comments from the outside world

Ryan Harris It has more flavor than other malt liquors I have tried. I like it. It is known around here [Seattle] as "Green Death"
