Vesuvio erupted in AD 79 and destroyed much of the standing cities including POMPEII�and ERCOLANO.
The ruins of POMPEII and ERCOLANO, both thriving cities today, stand as a beautiful, yet awesome reminder of the power of �"VESUVIO!"
