it's because they put something in the "personal URL:" box in the "Post a Response:" stuff (i'm an expert on technical terms).  If you like seeing your name in blue, put something in your "personal IRQ:" box.  We'll all see it in blue, too.  (If you want to see your name in red for a few days, click your name in the Swap listings, ignore the "invalid" stuff and turn your name into a followed link. WE, however will continue to see your name in blue unless we click it, too.)
  +++LAURA IN CLEVELAND HAS A HOME PAGE+++
     In 1959 (the posting, not the [very good] year) she wrote her http:// stuff in HER "personal URL:" box.  When we click HER blue name, Gail kindly sends us to her home page rather than to your server's message that the address (stuff) that we wrote in our "personal URL:" box is a lie (technical term meaning that they bet that you didn't know what you were doing when you wrote something in your "personal URL:" box).
    I wrote something in my "personal URL:" box once (i "lied"!  i'm very sorry.  i had to know).   My bet is that Gail intended the "personal URL:" box for people like Laura in Cleveland. Go ahead - look up posting 1959 and click Laura's name.  When i get rich and get my own home page, you can click my name, too.
