NVCMC 6/3/1999 Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm at the WHC.
We opened with Rich Muhr sharing his wonderful Rolling Thunder Story.
Jeff Watson will check into ordering more club T-Shirts, if the printer does not have the design we will need to create a new one, Jeff had a hard drive crash and the original one was lost.
Ric Segovia was voted in as President of NVCMC….Thanks Ric!!!!!
Honda Hoot activities were discussed, we will try to get together as a club for at least one activity.
Brief discussion on dropping the VOC affiliation , they didn’t give us any support for the ride in and the thought is that we could draw more members just being know as the Northern Virginia Crusiers. Some people may believe they need a Virago to join.
Ric reminded everyone of the Experienced Rider
Course
This course will be conducted on the Loudon
campus of NVCC located on Route 7 in Sterling, VA. The cost is $55. During this 8-hour
class, you will spend 4 hours in the classroom and 4 hours on the range conducting riding
exercises. Please call Claire Wynn at (703)450-2552 for more information. This particular
class has been reserved for the members of the NVC. Class size is limited to 11, but
cannot be conducted with less than 10. Anyone interested should call (703) 450-2551 no
later than 1 Jun 99 to reserve a slot. Be sure to tell them that you are with the Northern
Virginia Cruisers or you may have trouble making your reservation. If this class is booked
when you try to make reservations, check out the events calendar for additional dates.
