Welcome, adventurer, to the lands of Skara Brae. Skara Brae is a continent within the fantasy world of Myriad Magic - a medieval realm filled with mythology, magic, and mystery.

There are several intelligent races thriving within the rolling hills, harsh mountains, and misty forests of Skara Brae. The dwarves and gnomes live in the Darsh Mountains, in great underground cities. The halflings live on the rolling hills of Oakenshire, a great, sunny place where they live in burrows dug in the hills. The elves live in the Whispering Forest, where the trees seem to intimidate unwelcome travelers. Lastly, the humans live clustered around the thriving metropolis of Lyllgamyn, a town where humans and demi-humans live together in harmony.

Filled with wanderlust, you decide to travel to Lyllgamyn, to see what sort of professions it has to offer. Learning that anyone who can make it to the fourth floor of the Maelstrom - an ancient dungeon beneath the Maelstrom, which Lyllgamyn was built upon - will be inducted into His Majesty's Noble Guard, one of the most high-paying professions in the land! Enthralled, you decided to proceed to Gilgameshe's Tavern to rally together a party worthy enough to survive the rigors of the Maelstrom.
