Welcome to the Mount Airy Mustangs Wrestling Program. The Mustangs program began in 1993-94. In these past seven years, our program has grown from its original team of twelve wrestlers to its current size of over 100 wrestlers and four teams. Over the years, we have held fast to some basic and simple objectives in guiding our program, which include: Providing a positive environment in which our young wrestlers will learn the fundamentals of wrestling while having fun, emphasizing sportsmanship and mutual respect for ourselves and opponents, and instilling the values of hard work, committment, and discipline while working toward worthwhile and challenging goals. Much of our success is attributable to the great support and spirit of volunteerism of our parents, families, coaches, and of course our wrestlers.
The Mount Airy Mustangs have come a long way these past years, and the future keeps looking brighter and better. Keep up all the hard work that makes the Mustangs the wrestlers they are today. |
