| I learned about web building at my first webpage at AOL Hometown. But soon after, I moved my internet service provider to NetZero; loosing my America Online homepage. This was when I encountered the personal country site community and Country Patch Collections by Olli. It was love at first site. I immediately felt the warmth flowing from each country cottage I discovered- filling up my Favorites folder with URLs. I knew I had to create my own country site, so I signed up for Yahoo! Geocities' free service. |

| I have met many new friends over the internet. Those from Sweden, Iceland, England, and elsewhere. All of whom hold a special place near my heart. I want to thank all of the country graphic artists out there who make this all possible. They are the ones who are at the center of this community, making all of these special graphics for us to use. Placing this into another perspective, this page would not have been so decorated as nicely had it not been for Irene, who offered these graphics. Instead, it would be a boring white page with words. |

| The country graphic artists I have met on my way of creating Mulberry Lane have given me tremendous inspiration. So in the meantime, I am creating Graceful Dreams Graphics. A whole new graphics site created by me. I do not own Paint Shop Pro, but am drawing my graphics in Microsoft Paint with the help of color templates. I can hopefully get the program on my birthday in September, for it's fairly expensive. I found another graphics program at the store the other day, that sold for $798 with an additional expansion program that sold for $638. This must be for a professional because there is no way I can afford such a program! (LOL) |

| From May 26 to May 28, Mulberry Lane will host two contests. One is the Best Site Award based on layout and creativity by the webmaster. The second is the Best Spring Graphic Award that will honor a graphic artist for the most creative spring graphic based on color and artistic accreditation. The graphic can include but not limited to: a card, webset, quilt square, adoption, etc. Favoritism will not judge the graphics, only the amount of time and hard work put into them. Awards will include first, second, and third place. They will be given out on May 28th, on the anniversary date. Please return to this page to view the winners and the Top Ten Best Country Sites.
