| The American constitution was developed at the State House (Independence Hall) in Philadelphia on May 14, 1787. This document was a revision of the first, the Articles of Confederation. The first did not help gain independence from Britain, thus, the Constituion was made to better suit the American dream. |
| The Liberty Bell was made for the State of Philadelphia in 1752. It is composed of 70% copper, 25% tin, small amounts of lead, zinc, arsenic, gold, and silver. This bell weighs more than most at 2,080 pounds. |
