General Info: I am a senior in high school and involved in many extracurricular performing activities. This past year (my junior year) the school has put on three musical variety shows and three plays, all of which I was involved in. I’ve played a witch, a 70 year old woman, an 18^th century lady in waiting, the eternal recorder of history, a French narrator, a French teenager, and a lady mob boss. I am also the Vice-President of the drama club and the photographer for the French club. I’ve taken French for three years going on four, and I am starting Spanish next school year. After high school I am hoping to major in musical theater at Syracuse University in New York.

 

How I got interested in Johnny Depp: Through the years I’ve been interested in many different actors. I’ve never stopped being a fan of any one of them but I tend to switch who I am most interested in quite frequently. In 2003, my friend went to see Pirates of the Caribbean and told me that I absolutely HAD to see it. I wasn’t terribly interested at the time. And then I saw Benny & Joon. Johnny Depp’s performance in Benny & Joon sold me. I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean and I’ve been a fan ever since. Of course I had seen Depp movies prior to that, such as From Hell and The Astronaut’s Wife. I knew who Johnny Depp was, but I never really noticed him until I saw Benny & Joon. Most kids my age watched Edward Scissorhands as little kids, but I had never seen it until I started watching Depp movies, so I never knew the magic of Johnny Depp. Edward Scissorhands makes me want to cry every time. Whether or not I do cry depends on whether or not there’s someone in the room at the time. ;-)
