Scout Group Activities - 2006

In 2006 we remain the second largest Scout Group in New Zealand, and the largest in the North Island.

We have a number of Scouts and Leaders from our district who are attending the Jamboree in Australia in 2007.

We have now opened a second scout troop. Dolphin Sea Scouts has been resurrected, and now runs out of the Blockhouse Bay hall on Monday evenings. We have just received a funding boost from the ASB Trust, to enable us to purchase a new cutter and sunburst yachts, to get our new Sea Scout unit up and sailing.

We are assembling numbers of youth and adult leaders who are intending to attend the next New Zealand Jamboree in Christchurch 2007/2008
