Here is list of the GM parts that you will need to put a set of Corvette fuel rail covers on you F-Bodys LT1.

10108672 Stud-f/in Corvette Fuel Rail Covers (you need 4)
10208794 Cover Asm Corvette Fuel Rail Cover
10208795 Cover Asm Corvette Fuel Rail Cover
10214035 Hose-p/b Corvette Fuel Rail Covers**

**The hose is used because it allows you to route it UNDER the fuel rail covers. It's molded. You will need to get a new valve (you can get it in the HELP section of any auto parts store) for the hose, since it is of a slightly smaller diameter than the standard F-body hose.

If you want to modify the covers so they don't say "CORVETTE" like I did, also get: (2) Part Num. 10221722 Silver "Formula V8".

I can't tell you exactly where to cut the covers, because your car may be a little different than mine. But I'll tell you what I did.

1. You will need to take the large bundle of wires that runs across the top of the intake manifold and put it behind the intake so it's not in the way of the covers when you put them on. To do this, take the fuel lines off the fuel pressure regulator. You can get the tool form a parts store. And move the lines out of the way for now. Be careful when you do this because fuel will come out of the lines!!! Now pop out the two plastic brackets holding the bundel of wires on to the manifold and the one over on the heater core. Then pull the bundle back behind the manifold. It may take a little forcing but you won't hurt anything. Now you can go ahead and put your fuel lines back on the regulator.

2. Take the passenger cover and try to get it on as well as you can. You will see where you need to make a notch for the alternator bracket and the hose toward the back of the intake. I used a Dermel tool to make my cuts. Place the cover back on and see how it fits. If your happy with your cutting job, get some fine grit sand paper and clean up the ruff edges.

3. Take the drivers side. you will see the is a big hump on the side that will be closets to the fire wall. You can cut it off all together or cut off just the side and leave on the flat part at the top where the corvette badge was. If you leave on the flat part you will need to make a notch onthe bottom side so it will fit over the fuel pressure regulator. Once again check for fit and clean it up with the sand paper.

4. If you plan to fill in the "corvette" get some Permatex flexible parts body repair compound and a small plastic putty knife to put it on with. The part # is 25461. I found this stuff to be pretty good, and easy to work with. Put it on, let it dry good, then wet sand till smooth.

5. Now take your studs over to you intake manifold. When you look down on the intake you will see (on each side) two small humps with a threaded hole in it. That's where you put the studs. Then put a good coat of primer on the covers and give it time to dry. Once the primer is on to your liking, go ahead and add some paint. I used plasti-kote brand paint in a spray can and it worked really well. When your paint is dry add the decal, and on some clear coat. It will give the covers anice shine as well as protect your decals. And that's it.
