Honda Civix DX 1998

Car's history

David owned three cars before this one: an old Grand AM(which was basically falling apart), a Subaru Justy(fun little 4wd car but it's reliability and it's 3-cylinder engine that were at fault here) and a Honda Civic CX 1996. But none had such a shiny future in front of them like this one. This car will probably look and drive a lot different in a couple of years compared to the day it was picked up at a Montreal dealer and this is David's goal: to unleash the full potential that this car is capable off.

Performance

Those numbers are probably going to change with time.

- 0 to 100km/h: Around 9.2 to make the run. Shorter gears are really needed here(160km/h can be obtained in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear.

-Top speed: Around 185 km/h.

-Handling: Quite good. Especially since the 17' wheels and front strut brace were added. But the suspension is a bit lofty compared to the one in J's 1991 Civic Si. This is why Dave is looking forward next spring, when the car will be lowered and given new sport suspension components.

Pictures

Those are the pictures that were taken until now. The following are separated in sections, linked to the parts and modifications added in the previous section.

Section #1

A pretty sideway shot in a fall setting.

One of the back/side of the car.

A similar one, from the other side, with the St-Laurent river in the back.

A frontal shot, displaying the sharp-looking lights.

Almost the same as the second one but larger and a part of his friend's Civic to whom he sold his previous 15' American Eagle wheels.

Similar to the third one but a bit larger.

This one was taken at home with the previous 15' wheels.
