The 87 Fiero saw a few minor improvements. For one, the headlight assembly was improved to a new age design, due to the fact that the 84-86 headlight assembly was faulty and un-reliable . Also, new front and rear fascias were introduced on the Coupe and Sport Coupe. The fuel tank was upgraded from 10 gallons to 12, and a 5 speed Getrag transmission standard. The 87 also saw the last year for the SE, and the first and only year for the color bright blue to be available. (I love that color as you can tell from the pics)
