The 85 Fiero was improved by offering the "GT" model, which had the 2.8L v-6. The 4 speed was still standard, which resulted in more criticism. The SE (also avail. with v-6), Coupe and Sport Coupe returned to the model lineup. Instead of a carburetor, the 2.8L v-6 models used Multi-port Fuel Injection.
