This page is dedicated to what I call graffiti. In the past it was the habit of owners of commercial vehicles to paint their vehicles as one can see in the photographs. I call it graffiti, one might call it sort of vehicles' tatoo but whatever one calls it one must agree that it used to embellish the vehicle.
Most vehicles were dedicated to patron Saints, Singers or Actors and one could see the chosen name painted on the bonnet or the doors. Even the fonts used, it seems that there is something particular about them. I am not sure whether one can find these fonts elsewhere in the world.
This habit has almost died and very few commercial vehicles are seen with these graffiti anymore. Habits change and It is a pity that this habit will soon be lost in history.
