TOYOTA CELICA
ST162 Series II
1987 - 1989
Home Page

If you are looking for a reliable car which will give you both a comfortable means of transport, a weekend racer, and a sheer joy to drive, then look no further. The Toyota Celica ST162 Series II was the last model which had the 3SGE Twin Overhead Cam Fuel Injected engine fitted ( all subsequent models have an identical engine to the Camry ), so this was the last of the sporty Celicas.

As you can see, we both have invested in ( almost ) identical cars which are both undergoing a gradual restoration using new parts whenever they are available or second hand items when new ones are not available.

The white person in the middle is " KIMBAH ", the disobedient Samoyed dog who loves to leave his white fur on the blue velour upholstery.

This is Virginia's 1987 Model with non-standard Alloy wheels, after-market glass sun roof, automatic transmission, Essex white, Blue Interior with non-standard Kenwood Stereo. Other than that , the vehicle is basically original and will be completely restored to as-new condition over the next few years

Just another View of her Car

This is a view of the fleet minus the non-Toyota car, the Ford Festiva. The vehicles are Amy's 1990 Toyota Seca CSX, Virginia's 1987 Toyota Celica ST162 Auto, and Bob's 1989 Toyota Celica ST162 Manual.
