Despite the fact that I hate the MTR in Hong Kong, it is the fastest and most dependable form of transportation in Hong Kong. I always feel the company is very secretive about its operations in Hong Kong. (i.e. you can't take a photo within MTR, and most of you might notice there are "secret" platforms in Sheung Wan station)
