This is a list built up by our members, over time rebuilding their 15/17's we have found many places where things can be bought, built, repaired.

Alpine Affaire

Colin Stark who owns this business has many years with Renaults, and can help with most problems, he sells parts as well as servicing. His experience with Alpines and Gordini's help alot of our member's in modifying the engine's and other performance areas.

Caravelle Motor Imports

Trying to find that part, looked everywhere, well try Ken at Caravelle Motors, he imports a massive range of parts from all over the world. If he has not got it, he'll try to get it, we have found putting things on back order to be quite good, not all parts are available all the time, by telling him what you want he may be able to find in after a few weeks of searching.

French Connection

David has been dismantling Renault's for years, he always has some 15/17 in stock, having a Renault 12 Gordini Rally, and various other modified Renault 17 through the years, David is a great source of information on parts, and he also offers the following conversions out of his workshop, 5 Speed conversions for your 15/17, 3 Stud to 4 Stud wheel conversions 4 by 100 PCD, Brass Electric window gears and much more.

Reno Spares

Renault Spares is another supplier of parts who has been around for years, they can supply most general perts for your 15/17. There also have a Dismantling yard, but they only sell parts, second hand, used, new.

European Imports

European imports are another place for parts, they import new parts from various contries overseas, give them a ring, you never know what they may have.

Australian Precision Engine Parts

Suppliers of TOTAL SEAL gapless Piston Rings. These have been well worth the money, you need your top groove enlarged, which they can do, my Renault 15 has never been better with it's compression ratio or the stress that I inflict on the engine while racing. I recommend these on your next engine rebuild, just for the longer distance that they will last.

K.G. Engineering

There are a group of members who take their 15/17 & 17 Sedans here for various engineering work, they happen to be a Mini workshop but also deal with other European makes. They make custom alloy roll cages, negative camber modification for front ends of R15/17's, engine machining i.e. Big Valve head work, piston machining etc. They also make custom gearboxes for any application you may have, yes thay can be more expensive than most on some things but their work speaks of itself, they do things right.

Top Performance "Koni"

This place made one of our members up a set of custom springs, and matched up his Koni shock absorbers, the result turned out to be a fantastic package, ring Rick Kemp and he'll help you out with any suspension question you may have, Springs, Shock Absorbers etc.

Griplite Steering Wheels

Leather, suede, lots of colors, custom steering wheel covering, they require around a 2 day turn around, just give them a call. This is a great place as it really increases the life of your old steering wheel

Performance Exhaust

Custom extractors, exhaust systems, standard, road, race.

Challege Fiberglass

Custom fiberglass scoops, flares, spoilers, for road, race and rally. They don't have stuff for 15/17's as such. But on Volker's R15, his left bonnet scoop, which is a Ford Seirra Cosworth series 1 vent was from these guys. And hey they may have something that could be fitted to your Coupe. If there's a will theres a way.

Eastern Wheel Works

For widening your Renault steel wheels rims, 13, 14, it's up to you, ring them to see what you can do. They have dome quite a few rim sets for various renault owners over the years.

GT Suspension

These guys also do suspension work, and spring set-ups. They have also worked on various renaults

Wade Camshafts

Wade have quite a range of different Canshafts, from 17TS/G to 12 Gordini, just ring them and they'll be able to help you with the application you may have in mind.

Halron Accessories

This company will straighten and rechrome your front bumper, after that minor or even major mishap.

Moorabbin Car & Truck Spring Repairs

We had some Custom Sway bars made up here, just take in your standard sway bar, and they will copy and make up a thicker one, remember thicker than 24mm may be a bit to stiff. Just call them and they will give you all the details on price and how long it will take.

Capral Aluminium

These guys just sell lot's of different Aluminium, sheets, rod, checker plate, tube etc. A good place to know when you want to make something, and their open Sat afternoons.

Colliers Automotive Service

Colliers has been around for years, they were associated with Renault Australia's rally programme back in the 1970's, since then they have done many different things. As far as l have heard they will do any machining work you may require, engine work, race applications, with all that race, rally experience, just give Bruce Collier a call with any question you may have.
