 DragStrip Plus and Windows 95
 -----------------------------

DragStrip Plus will run under Windows 95. However, on some
machines it may be necessary to run DragStrip Plus in DOS
mode rather than from an icon on the desktop or via the menu.

To run DragStrip Plus in DOS mode, do one of the following:

      Method 1
      --------
      1. Click on "Start" with your mouse.
      2. Click on "Shut Down"
      3. Select "Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode"
      4. When the DOS prompt appears change directories into
the directory containing DragStrip Plus (normally
CD\RACE) and then type "RACE" and press ENTER.

Note that "Start-Programs-Exit to DOS" will not as
      effectively as the above method.

      Method 2
      --------
      1. Right click on DragStrip Plus' icon with your mouse.
      2. Select "Properties"
      3. Select "Program"
      4. Select "Advanced" (located toward the bottom)
      5. Select "MS-DOS mode"
      6. Select "Okay"

DragStrip Plus on-line Help and User's Manual
 ---------------------------------------------

DragStrip Plus help is provided internally throughout the
program and via the User's manual. The User's manual is
provided in three different formats, in plain text, Windows
Write, and Word for Windows 6.0 formats as files MANUAL.TXT,
 MANUAL.WRI, and MANUAL.DOC respectively (MANUAL.ZIP contains
 MANUAL.DOC).

We have consistently traced almost all problems our users
have had with DragStrip Plus to the same factor: Failure to
read the entire manual before making serious use of the
program (you should at the very least consult DragStrip
Plus's on-line Help by pressing the <F1> key at every topic
 and question you come across).

For example, what you might describe as "Good" traction
might be entirely different from what DragStrip Plus defines
as "Good" traction. If you fail to read the on-line Help
and input the wrong answer, your vehicle's E.T. will be
thrown off by a noticeable amount --and traction is one of
the simplest inputs required by the program!

We suggest you start your exploration of DragStrip Plus by
loading some of the sample cars from the program's built-in
vehicle database, rather than trying to enter your own
engine combinations right away. Please consult chapter two
in the manual or the TUTORIAL.TXT file on your program disk
 for details.

Please email our technical support staff at
dragplus@rconcepts.com if you experience even the slightest
problem with this product or wish to ask questions. You can
leave a detailed message on our Voice Mail answering system
any time around the clock at (713) 859-RACE, but we will
only return calls collect so please state the best day and
 time to return your call.

Furthermore, any comments and suggestions you might have on
how we can improve DragStrip Plus will be most appreciated.
