light grey 1983 2.0 liter LS, with a K&N air filter, a CCI Performance exhaust, Bremsport Drilled and Vented front discs, all-round uprated bushes and Spax adjustable shock absorbers, 1.5 inch lowered rear single leaf suspension and Burton Performance short springs in the front. (Gee, that really sounds "Boy-racerish", but I'm not a Boy-racer! Honest! I just like to show today's hot hatches that Capris are still a force to be reckoned with, unless they're powered by a 1300cc of course!)
However, I'm hoping to fit a new performance cam as soon as my wallet recovers from his latest stroke.
This picture was taken before the lowering, during a rally in Normandy. The Normandy report should be available as soon as I find the time to finish it.
My second Capri is a 1972 1500 XL Automatic with 90.000 km on the clock, in need of some restoration. I need to change the wings, the rear wheel arches, give her a fresh coat of paint and she'll be just like new. I have no pictures for the moment but they're on their way.
A more extensive page about my car should be available in my personal Home Page soon (Promised!).
