Motor
Bored to 102mm with a JV 10.5:1 compression piston. Exhaust port have been honed and cylinder has been ported, polished and bench flowed. Valves have been shortened and heavy springs installed for better seating and strength. White Brothers Road Race CAM has been added also. Rather than running Race Gas, I use '76' 92 octane with Pro-Power fuel addative. MUCH better than PJ1. Jagg Oil cooler was also installed. Rocker arms were hard faced.
Note: White Brothers hop-up kits do not suggest hard facing the rockers. SO, MAKE SURE you hard face them!

Carb
Kien 41mm FCR Pumper..... Tried the Mikuni 41mm Flat-side, but was not overly impressed.

Exhaust
White Brothers oversized header and e-series exhaust. Heat wrapped to remove heat from the front of the cylinder and improve exhaust gas flow.

Wheels
17" front and rear Sun rims, stock XR hubs were used as they are lighter than Talons. Traditional 3.5 front and 4.25 rear. Black Anodized wheels for effect.

Suspension
Lowered 2" front and back. White Brother Lowering kit was installed with heavier springs to suit a 200lb rider.

Brakes
Tried the front 320mm floating rotor. In all honesty, not required. I found that under heavy breaking (two finger breaking) the rear wheel still gets light and steps out. Stoppies are still as easy as pie with the standard XR rotor.

Gearing
15/44. And she still lifts the front end in second! In third if you tug a little. Max speed is around 115mph

Future Work
1. PC fans will be installed behind the head/cylinder. One on each side to improve air flow. As you can appreciate, air flow behind the cylinder is effectively non-existant.
2. Larger Oil cooler to be installed. Possibly fit one from a GSXR.
3. Scotts Steering damper
4. Inverted front forks off of CR250 97/98 model.
