This is "The Dragon" It is a 1962 Willys Jeep Overland Wagon.
It has been through a million different configurations, but for now
it is powered by a built 401. It is still 4wheel drive, but now
operates with a '72 Jeep Commandos drive train. It isn't quite as reliable
as a Riviera, But its every bit as fun in it's own way.
Finally after 2 years in primer.......new paint courtesy of me. They don't get much blacker, and yet I still refer to this one as the green jeep, due to a prior paint job. no wonder everyone gets confused when I start talking jeeps.
I guess you could say I like black vehicles.
Here it is with its counterpart the brown jeep. yea yea I know its silver but it was brown for 20 some years till I painted it this summer. It is a '60 Willys with a 5.0 Ford motor coupled to the original transmission and transfer case.
