Our final day!! This is so cool. We took the van up to Santa Rosa today (we are putting it in storage while away), and went shopping on the way back picking up all the miscellaneous stuff that we needed. We still are not quite packed, as we just got back about a half hour ago, and have to go to a friend�s party now. Plenty of time tomorrow though, as we are just planning on getting to Santa Rosa anyway, so we don�t need to leave till 3-4pm or so� It looks like we are actually going to have plenty of room on the bike! The RKA tankbag is quite huge, and swallowed tons o�stuff. Even with the laptop filling � of a saddlebag, we are fine. We are packing super light on clothes� but with the Aerostich and Janet�s Gerbing suit we should be fine. We�ll just have to do laundry a lot.
As soon as we are all loaded up, ill get some photos of the rack setup. It worked out really well. There is the tent, and one Thermarest on the rack, then a large REI drybag on top of that. The drybag holds one Thermarest, both sleeping bags, both pillows and 2 sweatshirts. Its final size is roughly 12� diameter by 23� long. I can barely see it in the mirrors, it�s a nice setup. By the way, we decided to get the big comfy Thermarests, the LE camp. 77�x25�x2.5�. waaay comfy!
