Today was filled with frustration. Its definitely time to go on our trip. Im ready to leave the city!! anyway... we spent several hours yesterday and today shopping. Janet now has a new Shoei RFR helmet (white, not pearl white) and a new pair of boots. Really cool little boots. I think we are pretty much ready for the trip now, clothes wise. Jo's riding suit is not here yet, but should be shortly.

We also spent Waaaaaaay too much time looking for sleeping bags. REI, Redwood Trading post, Camping World (dont ask...), Any Mountain, Big 5... even Costco. We saw them all. and STILL dont have any bags. aaarg. We are going to end up mail ordering one from New York...

we played a bit at my parents house, and set up our tent in the living room. Zachary (my nephew) thought it was pretty fun. we trimmed a ground cloth, decided on which thermarest to get (LE 3/4 model) and probably something else, but i cant really remember now. We also had Birthday cake (actually old wedding cake) and I got to open presents. More free stuff! yeah!
