last weekend (Memorial day) we did a shakedown run. I did an official Iron Butt Association ride (Saddlesore 1000) down to San Diego, picked up Janet, and we spent 2 days and 700 miles on the bike on the way home. i'd say it went pretty well, some sore butts, but we went much further than planned due to some road closures that we didnt count on... all fun and smiles though, we are ready to go!
