Here are the pictures!!

Here is a shot of us leaving Santa Rosa. We stopped by Laservue, where Janet's sister Sharon, and her best buddy Robyn work. As you can see, its a pretty tight fit on the bike If it weren't for the huge RKA tankbag and the REI dry bag (red bag on back) which holds a thermarest, both sleeping bags, 2 pillows, cookset and stove, 2 pairs of sweats and misc. clothing, there is no way it would all fit.
This is our first night in Van Damme State Park near Mendocino, CA. Not much to say, you can see the covered bike, and the tent.
Yes, we drove through the tree :-) This is at Leggett on Hwy 101 in CA.
A very common sight. Most of my travelling in the past has been on weekends, so I have not seen much construction. At least, not compared to what we have seen on this trip. It works well though. Traffic is held, we slip up to the front of the line, then we get clear road for a while.
This is the second night at Del Norte. It was an absolutely beautiful campground, as you can see here. once again, the covered bike with tent in the background.
Janet opening a can of soup with the pocket knife. On the table is the stove, cookset and misc. camping stuff.
I'm pretty sure this is me at Del Norte trying to get the stove lit. We have an MSR Whisper Lite stove. It works really well, just has a tendancy to flare up when cold
Here we are somewhere on the Oregon coast. For this shot, I balanced the camera on the bike, and used the auto timer. It worked out pretty well, I think.
just an example of the cool backroads that we hit on the coast.
OK, so here we are, cruising up Hwy 1. out of nowhere appears this HUGE Paul Bunyan and a pretty disproportioned ox. I have faint memories of being here as a child, so I had to grab a photo of it now.
lunch in Bandon. In the background, you can sort of see a bunch of kids. There was some sort of summer camp going on down on the beach. We had stopped at a deli on the way and picked up some sandwiches, and had a wonderful picnic overlooking the ocean.
This is our third night at Carter Lake. What an awesome site! right on the water, we were able to watch the fog roll in off the coast in the evening.
