Presidents Message...
Dear Fellow Club Members:

We had a very productive meeting this past month.  Attendance was excellent, nice to see so many people coming to our meetings.

John filled us in on the status of our Winter National Show.  A reminder here that we need all the support we can get.  Register  your cars and come out for as many events as you can.  Please wear your club shirts and/or your name tag, be informed enough to assist our many visitors with their questions.

A warm welcome to our Board of Directors: Lois Blackard (VP), Deb Wooldridge (Sec), Bill Mills II (Treas), Lu Houff, Chris Bailey, Joe Goodall and Arnold Goldfoot (Board of Directors)

"See you at the Pier"

I came to your town the other day,
I looked around and decided to stay.
People were talking of coming real soon,
An Event to rival man's walk on the moon.
A car show so wonderful, A car show so fine,
it would surpass the one of  '89.
I looked around and wouldn't you know it,
I found a class I could finally show it.
My beautiful truck so carefully restored.
From the shiny chrome bumper to the wide running board.
In Class 22 I found a home,
And started to polish until she shown.
The judges were coming,
My rag put away.
Ask me Questions,
I know what to say.
Silent and swiftly they did their job,
Marked their papers and gave me a nod.
Moving on down to the next one in line
Their job was done and I think I did fine.
The banquet was great
The food was divine,
Their making the awards
Will I get mine?
A Junior award
I have in my hand
I had so much fun
And the people were grand.
A senior award
I have on my mind
A little more work
And that will be mine.
This hobby is fun,
It's one I enjoy.
I'll be back someday
To show my new toy.
