Disc brake conversion
Here is my disc brakes after I completed the conversion. It now stops which is important to me. My used parts came from a 74 Blazer but the parts from 72-77 Blazers will work. It just has to be a Dana 44 w/discs. Here is a list of the parts I used to complete it.
Parts List:
* 74 Blazer spindles *74 Blazer backing plates one pc. with caliper holder * 74 Blazer loaded calipers (new)
* Rubber brake lines for 74 Blazer ( new)*
* 92 Bronco rotors and wheel hubs (76-93 Bronco hubs will work. in 94 ford went to carbon fiber disc on Broncos and changed the hub design.) I used my good old ford locking hubs, when one goes I'll spring for new Warns.
I have a 95 bronco and my warn locking hubs won't work on my 92 hubs on my 72. The wheel hub is shorter on the 95.

My next project was my dash. the guy who bought my truck new decided to paint it antique white and used a brush to do it. so I pulled the dash and door panels and my neighbor sand blasted them and powder coated them white. they came out real nice and the coating doesn't scratch to easy.
