Well the incredible Bollman Racing luck has come to an end! At Numedia we were unable to make it past the first round of competition as Bob Rossi and his A/A Olds Achivia beat us. Well he didn't really beat us, I red-lighted to him. I couldn't believe it, I had been so consistent all weekend on the tree. Well I did remain consistent but, it was just a little too fast. The weekend started out slow as the Bollman Racing Sunoco Ford Probe had starting line troubles. Our 60' time still remains to be slow and we cannot figure out why. Our best time of the weekend was in the first round with a 8.49 @ 159 mph. still nearly .15 slower than we were in our very first race at Delmar DE. So we are going to go back to the exact same set-up as the one we had in Delmar. However, we will run a narrower rim to allow the rear tire to grow more at the top end of the race track. This will reduce the rpm going through the traps to below 10,000 rpm! However, one good thing came out of the weekend I finally had the opportunity to try and do a funny car burnout! It was really cool and the last one was the best one, smoking the tires past the starting line! Watchout John Force and Dean Skuza! Its really fun and puts on a good show for the crowd. So bring on Englishtown Raceway Park, were ready!!!!!!!
