The HTML Writers Guild is the largest international organization of World Wide Web designers. Members include professionals, students, and hobbyists; programmers, artists, writers, educators, and entrepeneurs; beginners and experts. Basic membership is free and open to anyone with a desire to improve or perfect their skills in the craft of web design. Offers lots of help, mailing lists and archives.
World Wide Web Consortium was founded in October 1994 to lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing common protocols that promote its evolution and ensure its interoperability. It is an international industry consortium with membership open to organizations only, not individuals. Individuals can subscribe to the World Wide Web Journal, the official Journal of W3C.
The Web Design Group was founded to promote the creation of non-browser specific, non-resolution specific, creative and informative sites that are accessible to all users worldwide. It offers material on a wide range of HTML related topics.
Dan's HTML Help Page A well written site that includes everything you might need to know about writing a web site, with links to graphics, help, downloads and Java applications.
John's HTML Demos This site lists a variety of demos for common and not-so-common HTML codes... also has a nice selection of other interesting links and pages.

This site serves as a one-stop HTML authoring and design site. It includes links to HTML information including tutorials, style guides, HTML editors, HTML Standards and proposed improvements, CGI, Java, ActiveX, publishing tips including graphic tips and programs, animation, plugin support, and multimedia info among other things.

Sandia National Laboratories HTML Reference Manual This file was last modified January 1996. There are no current plans to upgrade this document.
