How is the motor coming?? It took me a while, but I'm almost done - watch the JR CAI on the 1.8 upgrade. The 1.6 CAI won't work - this was a bummer. The 1.6 thermostat housing and the loss of the angle on the TB hurt. I then bought a 1.8 JR CAI, but it wouldn't clear the 1.6 thermostate housing - I was trying to keep it to allow me to keep the sending unit a d the 1.8 one came accident damaged. In the end I will end up with a custom CAI - kind of a cross between the JR CAI and the Flying Miata turbo one - reversed. Frank |
