1.Sanath Jaisuryia - He's the guy on top of the Ceat Cricket Ratings and surely why not??? He has scored 1138 runs in 1997 in One Dayers at an average of 51.2 If he does get going the the opposition will have the time of their lives trying to stop him.Having  a highest score of 367 in test matches he is one of the most dagerous or THE MOST DANGEROUS batsmen today.

2.Sachin Tendulkar - Well the name says it all.Sachin tornado Tendulkar he is considered not in form and has scored more than 1000 runs in both tests and One Dayers.So you can imagine the Expectation for the LITTLE MASTER.
The point to be noted is that he is just 23 years of age and has scored more than 5500 runs in One Day Cricket and has 13 ODI centuries.You can say that he is not fit for the title of THE BEST BATSMAN today but the fact is that he IS.

3.Aravinda De Silva - Another player to have scored above a 1000 runs in 1997 and has over 7000 runs of experince.He may have been called mad max but all that is history.He definately DESERVES A PLACE in my DREAM TEAM.

4.Steve Waugh - A player as dangerous as any in the world.He claims the title of the best batsman of the world presently And rightly so.He has got Australia out of trouble so many times that its not a joke!!! 

5.Wessel Hansie Cronje(Captain) -  Well this may sound like a surprize but this guy has the capability to captian any side in any crisis and alongside being the captian, he can bat well.A brilliant fielder and the best captian in the world.

6.Ian Healy(Wicket Keeper) - There is no doubt that this character is the BEST WICKET KEEPER in the WORLD also he is the best wicket keeper batsman in the world.So he definately is a cool contender for my dream team.

7.Wasim Akram - Well I think the name is enough to tell you what he is!!!!!! With the bat or the ball he is the greatest all rounder.Not much explanation is needed.

8.Saqlain Mushtaq  - The greatest OFF SPINNER in the world is surely a part of the dream team.You may criticise him by saying that he does not turn the ball!!! If that is the case why the HELL does he get wickets??? Spin or no spin he is one of the best bowlers today.

9 .Shane Warne - Do I need to tell you why he is here??????

10.Curtly Ambrose - He may be getting old but that does not CURTail him from being one of the most dangerous guys bowling at ya!!!! When the ball is delivered from about 10 FEET it bounces on any surface.Isn't that enough to cause problems for anybody???

11.Allan Donald - White Lightning. I think that tells the story.He may be at no. 11 in the batting order but when it comes to bowling ..............!!!!! Guess why he isn't given the new white ball??? Answer - He tends to swing it a little toooo MUCH.
