VIN RP23FXXXXXXXX, built Aug.15 1966. Bought from
dealer Jan.3 1967 by a woman who owned it for 27 years. She only put on 29,000
miles. I first spotted the car some years ago. I parked next to it and waited
for the owner to come out. Well, it didn't take long. The woman came out. "Would
you like sell?" I asked. She said "Oh no, that's my baby." I gave her my phone #
and asked her to call me first if she was going to sell. Well, 10 years passed.
When I saw her name in the obituaries in the local paper, I bought it from her
brother who said nobody in his family wanted it because it was too old. I've
always wanted a mint '67, it's very hard to find any old car that's in great
shape here in the northeast. The 318/727 is a great combination of power and
economy.
