Police radar can be detected easily with radar detector. However, police laser has a very narrow beam e.g. beam diameter of about 600mm and 300mm at 400m and 100m range respectively. Hence it is either difficult to detect or too late to slow down. The only solutions to counter Police laser is either using a laser jammer or keep within the speed limits.
