There have been many rumors, but to my knowledge no specific data, to support the existence of a Buick GS Carolina. This is not to say the dealers in Carolina never got together and had a run of Carolina emblems produced. The dealers in Denver, Colorado had no problem doing this to create the GS Colorado. I would assume the GS Carolina would have been similiar to the Colorado. It would have been a GS California that had the rear quarter California emblems removed and replaced with Carolina emblems. I simply have never seen a picture of a GS Carolina or an emblem that might verify its existence.
If you have seen a GS Carolina, or maybe you even owned one, let me know. I would love to have a picture of the car or even an picture of an emblem to put up on this page as proof it really existed.
