DYNA SUPER GLIDE

When you're riding a Super Glide, with its classic factory custom styling, you can't help but be reminded of life's little pleasures. Then you're reminded of the curve that lies ahead, and how the Dyna chassis will handle it with ease. After a while, you're reminded that you should have been home two hours ago and that the "ran out of gas" excuse has long since lost its credibility.

More than a quarter of a century ago, Willie G. Davidson, vice president of styling and the grandson of one of the founders, started experimenting with a combination of the FLH chassis and a Sportster front end. The result was the Super Glide, introduced in 1971. Considered the first factory-made custom, the Super Glide featured a unique fiberglass seat/fender section and a red, white and blue paint scheme the factory called "Sparkling America."
