Q:
Where do you live?
A: In Cambridge, on my own.
Q:
What was your first car?
A: A Renault Clio.
Q:
What car do you own now?
A: A Citroen Saxo 16V. It has much better brakes than
the Clio did.
Q:
Are you a good cook?
A: Not too bad - living alone I have to be! I eat a lot
of pasta, which is easy to cook, and I don't really like to eat
out a lot.
Q:
Who would be your ideal dinner companion?
A: Cindy Crawford - she's gorgeous!
Q:
Have you ever smoked?
A: Yes, but I only do it once or twice a year, at
Christmas and other big occasions.
Q:
Do you like fast food?
A: I like it a lot, but I'm not really allowed to like
it! Occasionally I will treat myself, but it is really bad for my
diet.
Q:
Who do you admire outside of racing?
A: There are lots of sportsmen I admire, but I think the
100-metre athletes are amazing. They push themselves so hard
in that event.
Q:
Apart from driving, what are you good at?
A: I'm alright at golf, though it's the sort of sport
where you always think you could have played better. Last year I
played a lot of squash too.
Q:
Are drivers paid too much money?
No. Schumacher gets a lot money, but he gets the job
done. It's the same in anything - if you do a good job, then you
can expect to get paid for it. There should be no limit on the
amount teams can pay for a driver; it's up to them.
