Q:
Where do you live?
A: Barcelona.
Q:
What was your first car?
A: Vauxhall Corsa 1.3SRi. It was my mother's.
Q:
What car do you own now?
A: Golf GTi and Honda Prelude.
Q:
What's the fastest you've ever driven on the road?
A: 240km/h on a Barcelona motorway. I don't like to
speed on the road too much - I leave that for the track.
Q:
Do you eat out a lot?
A Yes, especially when I was in Japan for three years.
I'm a really bad cook and have to leave that to my girlfriend
Maria.
Q:
Do you like fast food?
A: Yes, but I'm not allowed to eat much now because I
have a very strict diet.
Q:
Have you ever smoked?
A: Yes, but only at Christmas. I like Benson &
Hedges.
Q:
What's you most embarrassing moment?
A: I was shaking down a brand-new Toyota Supra GT at
Suzuka in '96 and smashed it to pieces.
Q:
Apart from driving, what else are you good at?
A: Nothing really, although I like most other sports -
but I'm not much good at them.
Q:
Are drivers paid too much money?
A: No - far too little for what we do. Even Michael
Schumacher should earn more.
Q:
What's your favourite circuit?
A: Suzuka.
Q:
Whose toe-nails would you most like to cut?
A: No-one's really - not even Elle Macpherson's. But if
I had to, it would be my girlfriend Maria's, I suppose.
